Increase Your Ad Budget Without Higher Monthly Costs: How the Booster Works

If you want more customers, you usually need more reach. More reach means more ad budget. But permanently raising the monthly budget is a step many business owners only want to take once their ads have proven themselves. The Booster is designed for exactly this situation.

What the Booster Is

The Booster is an add-on module. Your ad budget then runs through Plaith instead of going directly to Meta. We pass our purchasing terms on to you as an ad budget package: for a one-time payment, you get one tenth of it as additional ad credit every month for 24 months, on top of your own budget. That turns €10,000 into €1,000 per month and €24,000 over the term. The credit is only valid with an active Plaith contract, is non-transferable, is not paid out in cash and is only used for ad delivery. If you cancel, you get the one-time payment back minus the credit already delivered, with a minimum of €0. If the platform's purchasing terms change, Plaith can end running packages with 30 days' notice; the same refund rule then applies. You'll clarify the exact terms in a call.

Increase Your Ad Budget: How the Additional Credit Works

The rule: the one-time payment divided by ten gives the monthly credit. It runs for 24 months.

One-time paymentCredit per monthCredit over 24 monthsMore than the one-time payment
€1,000€100€2,400€1,400
€5,000€500€12,000€7,000
€10,000€1,000€24,000€14,000
€25,000€2,500€60,000€35,000

The regular budget fee applies to the credit, because it's delivered as ads. With €3,000 of your own budget and €1,000 of credit per month, that's €360 instead of €280.

Worked Example S3: With and Without the Booster

Growth package, €3,000 own budget per month, 24 months, ROAS 5 as an assumption. Once with a €10,000 Booster, once without.

How We Run the Comparison

Both sides invest exactly the same total spend. On the Plaith side, it consists of your own ad budget, the setup fee, the package price, the budget fee and, if selected, the Booster. On the classic side, we subtract the cost of management and videos from the same amount. The basis is the benchmark from the expert report (Start €1,885.96, Growth €3,485.39, Scale €9,083.40 per month). The rest goes into ads. We don't include an agency setup fee there. Agency surcharges on the ad budget (for example 5% on everything or 10% on the portion above €1,000 per month, expert report section 4.1) are deliberately not included, so Plaith's lead is, if anything, larger.

The cross-check shows what the Booster alone achieves:

S3 with and without BoosterPlaith with BoosterPlaith without BoosterClassic (same spend) withClassic without

Extra left over thanks to the Booster€108,080€47,680

With the Booster, you spend €128,115 instead of €116,195. In return, the ad budget rises from €72,000 to €96,000. At ROAS 5, you keep €351,885 instead of €243,805, i.e. €108,080 more.

And What If You Spend the Same Money the Classic Way?

In the classic model, additional money also buys more ads. If you put the same extra amount into an agency campaign, it flows into ads 1:1, with no leverage. There you keep €47,680 more at the same spend. The difference to €108,080 is the leverage from the credit.

What This Means for You

The Booster doesn't change how well your ads sell. It changes how much advertising you can run on the same monthly budget. Whether that pays off depends on your ROAS. That's why we show a large budget next, where the effect plays out differently.

Worked Example S7: Large Budget

Scale package, €25,000 own budget per month, Booster with a one-time payment of €25,000, 24 months, ROAS 4 as an assumption.

The Booster works with a large budget too: the ad budget rises by €60,000, and "What you keep" at ROAS 4 by €211,400.

The Booster over a Shorter Period

The credit runs for 24 months. If you only look at twelve months, you count the full one-time payment but only half of the credit. Example S5 (Growth, €10,000 own budget, €10,000 Booster, 12 months, ROAS 4) shows this:

S5 with and without BoosterPlaith with BoosterPlaith without BoosterClassic (same spend) withClassic without
Total spend€159,087€148,367€159,087€148,367
Total ad budget€132,000€120,000€117,262.32€106,542.32

Extra left over thanks to the Booster€37,280€32,160

Only €12,000 of credit counts within the period under review. Even so, you keep €37,280 more with the Booster. The rest of the credit keeps running afterward, as long as your contract does.

What the Booster Is Not

To avoid false expectations, this belongs here too:

  • Not an investment. You don't get money back; you get ad credit that is delivered as ads.
  • Not a substitute for a good offer. More budget amplifies what your ads already achieve. If they don't sell, the Booster won't change that either.
  • Not a must. All packages work without a Booster. Examples S4 and S6 in our worked examples deliberately calculate without one.

Who the Booster Is For

  • You have an offer that already sells with ads, and you want more reach.
  • You don't want to permanently raise your monthly budget, but you can invest a one-time amount.
  • You plan to work with Plaith for at least two years.

It's less suitable if you don't yet know whether your ads sell at all. In that case, test with your own budget first. Also run the numbers with a conservative ROAS: the credit only brings in revenue if the ads work.

What the Booster Brings You in Your Growth Phase

Your ads are running well, and you want more reach. But permanently raising your monthly budget feels premature as long as you don't know whether the growth will hold.

With the Booster, you run more ads without raising your package price.

What you concretely gain:

  • More ad budget per month. A one-time payment of €10,000 becomes €1,000 of additional credit per month, €24,000 over 24 months.
  • A package price that stays the same. Your package costs the same. The budget fee does, however, also apply to the Booster credit.
  • A clear exit. If you cancel, you get the one-time payment back minus the credit already delivered, with a minimum of €0.

Whether more budget brings more revenue depends on your ROAS, and that's an assumption. In S3 at ROAS 5, you keep €108,080 more with the Booster than without.

Objections, Answered Honestly

A module with a one-time payment raises questions. Here are three objections you should ask yourself:

"Isn't that just a prepayment?"

Yes, you pay up front. In return, over 24 months you get more ad credit than you pay in: €10,000 becomes €24,000. That's ad credit for ads, not money that gets paid out.

"What happens if I cancel early?"

You get the one-time payment back minus the credit already delivered, with a minimum of €0. Credit that has already been delivered is used up. So plan the Booster for a period you can see clearly.

"What if the platform's terms change?"

Then Plaith can end running packages with 30 days' notice, under the same refund rule. That's a real risk, and we say so openly. The Booster is an advantage, not a promise for all time. The article Fees on Your Ad Budget explains how the budget fee applies to the Booster credit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How can I increase my ad budget without paying more per month?

With the Plaith Booster: a one-time payment is delivered as monthly ad credit for 24 months, one tenth of the payment per month, on top of your own budget.

Is the credit paid out in cash?

No. The credit is only delivered as ads and is only valid with an active contract. If you cancel, you get the one-time payment back minus the credit already delivered, with a minimum of €0.

Is the Booster counted as a cost in the worked examples?

Yes. The one-time payment is fully included in total spend and in the cost paid to Plaith. The budget fee on the credit is included too.

Run Your Own Scenario

Run your scenario once with and once without a Booster. Then open the **Plaith calculator on plaith.ai**. Enter your package, your own ad budget per month and, if you like, a Booster. Then choose a conservative ROAS assumption, for example 3. You'll instantly see the ad budget, the cost paid to Plaith and the ROPS for your case. The same applies there: worked example, no guarantee.
